Tire suggestions for an 87 Carrera Targa
What tire is preffered out there for a Carrera with 16's...i have a well worn set of BFG Comp TA's that i will be replacing soon. I use the car in the summer as my daily driver...once in awhile it does some track duty...nothing too serious, my friends or my sister occasionally borrow it for a DE (i know, but i am a sucker). need good rain capability, low noise, and fairly grippy...Thanks for the help!

I've been running the new Toyo T1-R's for a couple of thousand miles now....
I've run the ES100's and I'm liking the Toyo's pretty good. From what I've
seen though, the SO3's are the most preferred. The SO3's were out of my
price range and I have a uncommon size so I was VERY limited on selection.
Goodyear does not make their tire in my size for example.

The car was a Porsche "Special Wishes" custom order. The color is "Crystal Blau". It is a color from the late 60's.
Thanks for asking,

All potential Goodyear users, be aware that at half-worn they become extremely noisy and harsh. At the shop we could tell, during test drives, which cars had Goodyears - they were the ones that you couldn't hear the radio in!
