Nice little anti-theft option.

Just installed this nice little kill switch on my 78 SC - works like a charm. Won't fool the pros but may stump a joyrider. Most look for kill switches under the dash.
Just a little peace of mind.

BTW, if you order it make sure your wheels is screwed in right side up. Mine wasn't and I spent a frustrating 30 mins. trying to figure out why this wasn't working. Then I looked at the pic in the catalogue and reversed the wheel.

I have had just about every alarm made installed in various cars of mine. I now have a simple kill switch and I feel more secure with it than anything I have ever had. Its so well hidden I have a hard time finding it. As you said if they want it they will get it. Again this is just my 2 cents.

When I was in high school, three other guys and I drove to Santa Barbara for a school football game. coming home, the driver removed the steering wheel and drove a few miles down hwy 101 with a pair of pliers.

I used to have a 1958 1600 Speedster. I would remove the rotor from the distributor as an anti-theft measure when I parked it. Who carries a rotor for a 1600 Speedster?
Of course it could still be towed, but at least it wouldn't start.

if they want your car bad enough they will get it, It just keeps inept hoodlums from trying to steal your car, the worst you will get is a broken window, broken steering lock, and a destroyed ignition cylinder.

when I was in college I drove a Fiero. I had to pull fuses to get the engine to shut off. Since I kept them out till next start up, nobody could ever steal the damn thing. If there was ever a car I wish went away in the night, that was it.
