I am considering replacing the front valance on my 1987 911 because it is just beat to h##l. Pelican has one for $456 and Performance Products has one for $165. Does anyone have either one of these parts? How is the quality? Does anyone know the difference between the two and why there is such a large discrepancy in the prices?

I would also be interested in opinions regarding replacing the valance vs. placing a new "Euro-styled" type aftermarket front bumper on the car.

Well I am in the middle of deciding on wether I want the RUF front and rear bumpers or the IROC front and RUF rear. I would say look @ all the other bumpers you could put on there and get what suits you the most.

I would check with www.rennspd.com....they supply some of the ones you mentioned and they are cheaper....I just ordered a tail today....

Thanks for that link. I have found the same valance at Rennspeed that I had found at two other places for about $200 LESS! How are they to work with? Reliable delivery?

I just had mine redone when I added my front lip spoiler and whale tail. It was beat to hell also, and it looks brand new now. Simple paint and body shop job, cheaper than new.

I just ordered a ducktail from them.....should be here in a few days....great guys to work with
