How many miles do you have on your 911
There is always much talk here about how long lived 911s are. I am curious to know how many miles are on members' 911s--both the highest and lowest. Knowing what major wrok has been done to goet it there would be interesting too.
I'll start off:
'76 911s Sunroof Coupe
184,000 Miles
Trans freshening (operating sleeves--reseal @ about 132,000 Miles
Engine rebiult before I got it.
Engine rebuilt after I got it
Carpet Set
To come soon:
Needs struts this winter.
Needs Seats
I think it'll be fun to find the high mile cars as well as the garage queens.

Three Wheelin'
1988 M491 Cabrio
Nothing rebuilt...driven once every few weeks [will start getting driven more]
15,800 Miles
Was my Dad's second car, but she has always gotten out at least once every few weeks even in winter!

'83 SC, 122,000 miles. Just bought this car in Oct. haven't had to replace anything, oh, except for the coil. It was interesting to be sitting at a light and the car stops running.

My '90 C2: 33,500 - Definitely a garage queen and doesn't come out unless it's a perfect day.
My car needs a $800 cam cover gasket replacement, a new engine sound pad and probably could use fresh struts and shocks since the originals are still in the car. I'm waiting for my DMF to fail at any minute... I'd like to replace the dual distributor belt as well...

88 Carrera Coupe 116,00 miles. Only thing done was top end rebuild in 1998 (new valve guides) before I bought it. It is a constant concours winner here in Texas.
