'87 Carrera Coupe - 154,000 miles but now less than 3K per year. No engine work, replaced the 2nd gear synchro, did a clutch, otherwise just general maintenance stuff. I've been impressed with her reliability and lack of leaks, especially now that she sits so much. She's so clean I just can't bring myself to sell her....I just love looking at her and driving her when I can!

My 90 C4 has 43k on it and had the top-end done at 40k as well as the DMF and clutch. I just sold this car and I am about to replace it with an 86 Carrera with 102k on it, no major work as far as I know. It goes for the PPI next week.

My 84 has 130,000 miles, no engine work despie numerous track and AX days. The 02 996 TT X-50 has about 7,500 miles. Few miles on either this last year seconary to a ladder event with a resulting broken humerus.
regards,
Steve

1982 SC coupe, 203K miles and counting. Original engine except for replacement cams (some pitting found at 190K miles) and Carrera tensioners. Oil consumption, about 1 quart/1,000 miles. One synchro freshen, one airbox replacement, 2 clutches, one master cylinder. I also gave up on the AC, compressor and rear condenser removed. Recent HD Bilsteins (second set), and Bridgestones on factory finish alloys. Leather Recaros, recovered steering wheel and replacement dashboard.Great car!

200813 miles. i had my shop do a leak down test on it last week and and it was 5% of less on all 6. very strong oil pressure hot or cold. Tech sez it good for 100,000 more. i have most of the repair records for this car from day one but i thing the top end must have been redone with these results. no matter what its damned durable!

The chassis on my car had about 100k miles when I bought it in 1993.. I have put 100k on it since then. The last 85k has been on the new motor (from parts heaven). So 200k on the chassis and at least 85k on the current motor.. :-) Who knows how many miles it had when I bought it from Parts Heaven. I bought it as is and bolted it straight in.

85 Turbo (930) with 130,000kms (81k miles). Rebuilt 915 transmission as 2nd/3rd synchro were toast, front wheel bearings & left rear wheel bearing (local track is predominantly right hand turns). PO did Andial upgrade along with beefier brakes and suspension. Now needs dash repair as crack just appeared
