QUICK ASIDE:

Racer,
Please drop me a line about your '78 SC that is For Sale. I would have emailed or PM'd you but
I believe you have those features turned-off on your account...
Thank you,
Tim

That's pretty impressive. What year/model?

'70 911E, I'm the 4th owner. Bought this car with 36,000 miles on the clock. Who knows how many times it went around. I rebuilt the motor and trans at an indicated 72,000 miles. It now has 28,000 trouble free miles on the rebuild. I drive about 5,000 miles a year.

138K. Had 119K when purchased July 2004. Drove it back from Chicago. Still runs beautifully.

122 K and still runs strong. Clutch was replaced a few year back, and I have added some things to the car like new rotors and rebuilding the calipers (didn't need to be done...just wanted the cross drilled rotors) SSI' etc. she doesn't smoke or leak oil @ all, and burns just what it should for an air cooled engine.

1982 911SC 136K No engine or tranny work, Carrera oild cooler, cam tensioner upgrade, pop -off valve, Borla exhaust, Fabspeed bypass, 7x9 Fuchs, 930 brakes, Carrera swaybars, 21-26 torsion bars. Driven daily and tracked 4-6 times a year.
Only maintenence issues have been alternator, and one broken valve spring.

1985 930 Eurospec with 63,000 original miles. Needs minor cosmetic work (dash, sunroof seals) and A/C (works but not real well). Other than that its a great car.

86 911 with 177,000 miles.
I've had it 4 years and don't believe any motor or trannie work was done other than 2nd gear syncro.
I've replace shocks, alternator, rear and soon to be front arm bushings and a lot of little thing that annoyed me.

1984 Coupe with 216,891 miles. Driven nearly every day. Top end done at 170k, trans at 190k. Burns less than a quart of oil between oil changes. Only leaks oil if I stop driving the car.

'82 911 SC with 250,000 approx. miles. (Speedometer was replaced before I got it.) Looks great was running strong when I dropped the engine to go through the trans. (1st and 2nd syncros.) Now that it's out I'll put on the SSI's I have for it and put on the Carrera tensioners, new clutch etc.
Thinking about different cams and maybe a bump to 3.2. Anyway, it's been a great car.
