I've tried all the forums, Pelican, PCA and ebay. If anyone could direct me, that would be great. Want to put them on my 71' Signal Orange 'T'. I have the original 6"x15" Fuchs the car came with and a set of 6" & 7" x16"s off a 85' 911 which I would be willing to sell or trade for the 7"x15"s. Any suggestions would be great. -Johnny K.

You can't fit 15x8's?
Have you tried Wheel Enhancement? They sell used and new wheels.

15x7s come up regularly on Pelican's classifieds: from custom finished to barely usable, and every condition in between. Try posting a "WTB" thread over there and you will get responses, believe me, both from individuals and those who run shops.

It all depends upon which 7x15's you desire. If you want original Carrera '72/'73 date stamps, you'll find some company. There seems to be a few people wanting them.
If midyear 15's will suffice, they are a highly available, and pretty inexpensive.

Hey real 550a, what's the difference? Is the offset all the same, because I know the 7"s on the back with 205/55 might rub a little and that it varies from car to car. When you say, mid 15"s I'm assuming all the rest of the years after 72'/73'. You wouldn't by chance have the part numbers for the 72'/73's. Johnny K.

Early Carrera 7x15's are 911.361.020.01 '72/'73 3 prong cap small hole
Later '73 & 74 Carrera 7x15's are 911.361.020.11. also 3 prong small hole
Mid year 75 and up used a ring style large hole center.
All with 23mm offset and possible tire clearance concerns. Mine fit fine.

I'm not sure, Randy. Are they possibly the mid year style with ring style caps? I own some with the two #'s I mentioned, but haven't seen a .41 close up. Please enlighten us if (when) you find out.

ring style caps means the caps have a little skirt of steel with 3 dimples in it, right? That's what they are. They don't use the older caps with the long prongs.
I'm not sure what mid year style means...
Freom the p/n I assume they are later than the ones with the p/n's you posted...
