I would think the Weltmeister is more than adequate if you don't need it to do anything more than be a brace, as 90% of them are.. don't think it really matters which one in the sub $250 range.

I have a Weltmeister on my '70 911 and it made a very noticeable improvement. The front end feels much tighter.

I believe any strut brace will work. There isn't that much stress on the brace and it makes a hugh difference on front-end stablity.

I agree with all of the above. I would definitely get one that is triangulated rather than the one that just goes straight over. After that, it is a quesiton of finish.

this thread is probably dead, but if you are still interested and reading, I think that the car deflects as much through the rubber strut bearing as it does in the actual movement of the strut tower. With that in mind, if you are seeking simplicity, the Weltmeister ties the strut tower to the bearing, so, theoritically anyway, it is all nice and tight.

For a street only car the brace significantly reduces luggage capacity. IF you use the car for overnight trips, take that into consideration, also.
