WOW! That is CLEAN looking. One of my friends just finished a 7MGTE swap into his 1985 4x4.

Not exactly my daily, but I do drive it whenever I can:

My "real" daily driver is a '07 Tundra 5.7 Double Cab Limited with red-rock interior.

I keep trying to convince myself it's for the best. So far...it's not working. But I keep trying...

I can't believe nobody else runs their P car as a daily driver!
I once went on a job interview - the interviewer owned a '88 turbo and asked if I had dependable transportation for the 75 mile commute from the marina. My answer......
My 928 - of course!

I had a 79 911 I drove as a DD for 5 years, was too much to drive the busy streets of the metro NYC area. Everyone trying to cut you off or race you every day got a bit tiring. I save the experience for when I can really enjoy it. Even the CT is a bit much because it is too easy to get into trouble and people are just jerks around here. Now the Avalanche on the other hand everyone seems to get out of its way. Nothing like "big" to help move traffic along.

Good call on the '79 as a DD. I have a 2001 Range Rover that just sits since I got my old P-car. Yeah, I know. Silly, but a lot of fun. ****s and giggles as they say.
