This is mine, I bought it yesterday, will be shipped up to Brisbane from Sydney next week.
1978 PORSCHE 911 SC - 74 WIDEBODY IROC RSR REPLICA
Click for specification sheet and more images in my gallery for more information.
IROC RSR Bumpers and IROC whale tail for track days still to be installed, I'll keep the ducktail for the street. As well as oil cooler relocation and some more engine modifications.
Original Arrow Blue Australian delivered car bare shell rebuild to the current specifications in 2000 with all steel wide body and extensive documented engine upgrade work done by Porsche Cars Australia. The thing is immaculate with very low kilometres on it since the rebuild.

He wanted to keep his copy of the magazine so I ordered a back copy from them and it is on its way to me to go with all the other extensive documentation of the build.

Yes they did!!! Wow you are the first to have said they saw it, I bought the car from a friend who did the build and owned the car when they did the article.

I have kept that particular issue because, in addition of being mesmerized by your well-built car, the article talked about the great driving roads and scenic views of the Grand Pacific Drive. I have noted in my head to visit Sydney again (when the exchange rate is more favorable!) and drive on that stretch of road.
I had a great time driving a rented Yaris on the Great Ocean Road in Melbourne several years ago. But, of course, not remotely comparable of driving a Porsche through the scenic roads!

I love impact-bumper Porsches and with the article describing the great driving roads and scenic views of the Grand Pacific Drive, I have noted in my head to visit Sydney again (when the exchange rate is more favorable!) and drive on that stretch of road. I drove a rental car on the Great Ocean Road in Melbourne several years ago.
My wife and I competed in the Australian Targa Championship in 2009 and 2010 in our VW R32 Tarmac rally car and the 3 events in it are on some of the best driving roads in Australia.
