Thanks Guys, it's a 71T that I have been working on over a year, almost done.
My intent was an early lite weight Hotrod with a small screamer of a motor, the 3.6 transplants are very nice and would have been less money but I love the sound of a short stroke at 8K RPMs and it keeps it kind of period correct.
I have the car weighing in under 2,200 lbs with a full tank, all insulation, padding, wipers/wiper motor, heavy carpet, seats, ventalation, etc, etc has been removed. Rear 3 windows are lexan, FG bumbers and rear decl lid, small battery, LW starter, etc, so it is lite. It's loud and hot though.
Swapped out the 901 with a re-geared (short) 915 with an 8:31 R&P and a guard LSD. Full elephant racing track suspension with alloy S front brakes and sc rears.
The motor is a 2.5 Short Stroke with all the goodies.... 7R case,oil mods, windage mods, pauter rods, extreme worked HSR heads, 10:5:1 comp, twin plugged, pauter worked crank/knife edged/balanced/polished, GT-3 oil Pump, DC-62 cams, 46 PMOs, twin plugged, LW fly wheel/pressure plate, custom headers, etc, etc.
Car is really not happy below 4K RPMs but at 5k hold on.
