Interestengly nice w/ the gold rims! That was actually seen a lot back in the day. The shine off your tires, greates an optical illusion of them looking warped / bent out of shape.

Do it! I have a stout 997.2 S, given the options and all. However, I always get a thrill from driving my Targa. Fantastic car!

I've been a lurker for quite a long time, but here is "Nellie"... I saved her years ago from a life in the back of a garage...





Still have some work to do, but she's my first, and a keeper...

Funny thing about the black trim, most of it IS new, seems to get a haze on it over time, and the sun was hitting it funny that day, but the bellows are new, but look 20 years old....

Any products out there been used with success???

My first Porsche, an '88 911. This is how it looked after pulling it from a friends garage that had it track ready. It has been sitting in his garage the past 7 years ago after he got bored of racing.

This will be a project car for the family to wrench on and drive so we are converting it back to street. We have already pulled out the seats, roll bar, racing seat belts and fire suppression. Car needed to be drained and we had a bad fuel pump and no muffler. That has been corrected along with adding the carpet, seats, seat belts, tires and a new windshield. Oh, and we took off most of the stickers -- no need to attract the attention of the po-po.

We have a long list of additional things that need to be addressed so don't be surprised if you see some stupid questions.
