Post Anyone have a nice 73 RS/RSR replica for sale?

Interested in a fast early RS or RSR replica - preferably in lightweight trim and with lots of power. Authenticity a plus.

Thanks,
Grant

Jack- Authentic would be nice, but what do you have in mind?

Uhhhh, I think he was chiding you for using replica and authentic in the same sentence.

How about a unique clone, instead?

Sorry, I'm a bit slow. I guess what I meant was "period correct" - i.e. not a matching numbers car (and not an RS chassis), but rather than the nice one on ebay now that has a 3.2 Carrera motor from 1985, I'd like a MFI car with 2.7L RS or 2.8L RSR motor, etc.

Thanks,
Grant

What would be a ballpark price of something like that? ie RS replica, period correct but not matching #'s, very good condition??

$$: Teens, twenties, thirties, more?

Yeah, I've seen that ad too (and the car is not so far from me either - 1 day's drive), but that one has only a 2.5L (I want one that going to be alot faster than my stock 73S)- but still pretty cool. It also has a 901 tranny which may or may not be an advantage...

I know you were looking for RS replicas, but there are two RSR replicas in Pano this month.

Ron @ 407-788-0828 $30,000
Dave @ 410-489-7576 $11,000

Just some info, the ROW 1974 & 1975 Carrera had the 2.7 RS-engine, so that would be a "correct" engine to use in a -73 RS replica.

cheers

Christian
