The other thing that I don't think that anyone has mentioned is that you might not be able to sell this car to anyone in California. Im pretty sure that that engine didn't come from the factory with Carbs, so it will be impossible to smog in CA.

Just got back into town from business. I'm going to take some photos of the engine and hopefully look for some identifiying numbers on that thing. I'll pull some photos of the interior together as well. I have my doubts to whether its smog legal in California.

You guys have been more than helpful.

You can pretty much rule out Ca from the smog perspective. 1973 is the cutoff for smog exemptions in Ca. The year is fixed so no matter the age of the vehicle it will need to be smog compliant in Ca as a street car.

'75 is the last year for smog exemption in CA. It was a 30 rolling exemption and this was the last year for it. I was really hoping they would let it go until 2007.
