Is he selling to you or to the general public?
If my math is right (and you can’t depend on that because I was educated in the California school system) In 19 years he would of only driven it 10.12 miles per week. Wow.

Wow
Thats amazing, it seems like it should be in a museum. Depending on the colour and the options, a car like that in the UK would sell for around £28,000 from a dealer, and about £25,000 private, maybe more.
There are a few very low mileage examples over here that come up from time to time and most tend to go for big bucks through the major specialist auction houses.
Problem with cars this good is that if you buy one, you are reluctant to drive it..I had a similar wrestle with mine when I first bought it, 89 with 37K on the clock, but I soon realised that driving it is better than looking at it.
I think with a 10K' er it would just take me longer to reach the same conclusion .
Greetings from the UK...it's almost summer here!

10 or so miles a week might not even be enough to get that car up to full operating temperatures, though it depends on the climate and how the car is driven for that 10 miles...but...
However, I'd agree that $24,000 to $25,000 might be a good starting price point for this car. If it's absolutely perfect (has zero flaws) and in showroom condition, your father in law might be able to get a bit more... I would be some of these places like Sloan might be quite interested in that low mileage car.
Good luck!

LOL I'm sure it's not 10 miles per week. He is prob the type of person who drives the car to church one sunny day 8 times a year. My mother put 25k on her 78 SC that she bought brand new and owned from 78-03. (And most of those were from my father )

What color combo? If it were mine I would not sell for less than high 20's maybe low 30's. These are very hard to find. It's a whole different animal that the usual 70K-150K mile carreras you can buy any day of the week. 70K being considered low miles now.
