Talking Bought it! Finally found the 911 Cab....

Finally found the right car. 1989 911 Cabriolet, Silver Anniversary edition. 76,000 miles. Thanks for all your input over the last several months on ppi's, etc.

The car came out of Naples FL and I had Russ at Naples Euro Sport (239)777-2199 do the PPI. They were awesome. Highly recommended.

Thanks all. Here are some more pics. I should have said 25th anniversary edition, not Silver anniversary.

Car is to arrive today via Exotic Car Transport.

Yes. I did go see it first and had a PPI done before finalizing the transaction. Don't think I would do it any other way. Too many variables.

Congratulations,

How far away was the car? Did you have to fly in, or were you able to drive over to look at it? I have been lurking for some time with the objective to learn more before jumping into a purchase I would be sorry for. I've learned a lot from the forum and soon hope to be able to purchase my own and post some pictures. Not sure exactly what I want except that it will be a 911. According to a buddy of mine who's been a Porsche-phile since I first met him in the late '60's "a true Porsche is air cooled and real wheel drive'.

Congrats on your purschase. I am a new member who is looking for a '87/'89 myself. I am in texas. Can I ask how much you paid? Did you lhave any dealing with Victory Motors in Houston? They seem to be a prominant dealer of used Porsche's in Houston.I am looking at a 1987 coupe w/77K that they have.

Congrat. dittos on your purchase. Looks like a great car. I'm sure if I found one like yours before I ran across the one I did buy, I'd have one like yours now. I did find a silver AE in my searches, but it looked a bit too worn for me. Enjoy!!
