Default Insurance recommendation

In anticipation of buying a 911 shortly, I’ve checked the payout values as reported by KBB, NADA, etc and find they are below market or replacement value if the car were to be totaled. If I go with a classic car insurance company, I’m banned for any sort of performance driving, (track, autocross, etc).

What do you guys use to insure your 911’s ?

AMica - avoid Geico and State Farm and Allstate.

The best is the one you have to be a vet to join - forget the name.

Haggerty and some others will insure you for what you want.

Does anyone have any experience with Parish Heacock or Leland West?

For track events do not use your regular insurance carrier. American Collectors Insurance has special DE insurance which many of us use. Unlimited number of DE days, premium is 1.5% of declared value, deductible 20% of same. I have had good support with USAA and State Farm and very bad luck with AllState. I don't like Geico because of their active campaign against radar detectors.

Leland West is the other one I couldn't think of above - I hear good things about them. Search on Pelican.

USAA. You either have to be a vet or vet's dependant.

Leland West provides classic car insurance with mileage/year limits of 1000 and 5000. I'm pretty sure they exclude any driving events. Special track ins. is the way to go.

don't forget that Leland West and Haggerty require one car per licensed driver in the household -- in addition to the 'exotic' Even with the low mileage requirement, they still mandate that the car be the third car if you have two licensed drivers.

Kind of a pain.
