Oil for 915 with lsd
Hello. I filled my box with swepco 201. Contrary to what I read my box is more flexible when it is cold. Afterwards, when it is at 60/80 degrees, it is harder.
Another problem my lsd seize chatter.fort
What other oil can I use to make it more pleasant

try any other gear oil that meets spec.
some like Kendall
you may or may not need a rebuild sooner
use of the terms seize and chatter in your post is troubling, so you may need a rebuild

Good evening, thanks for your answer.
I revised my box less than 5000kms ago during the assembly of my new lsd Gripper. (bearing synchro wolf tooth)
Unfortunately I am in France and Kendall is not available ...

anything that meets the spec. will be ok
I would talk to the person who rebuilt the transmission as the words you used in your original post suggest problems - could it be translation issues instead?

Hello. I finally emptied my box ...
As I am a little disappointed by the swepco that some advise I returned to see the technical review of Porsche for the 915.
Porch recommended SAE90 API GL5 MIL-L2105 B.
So I searched and found Motul 90 PA.
I filled in and tested this day. Great !!!
My lsd no longer slams and my box works much more flexible.
I think Swepco is certainly very good for the circuit but in everyday use it is too firm. my its my experience, Sorry for my English, Google translation is working for me ...

Currently there are 30 degrees (south France)
I put a temperature sensor on my box with indication on the board. I also installed the pump and the lubrication rail
With swepco from 60 degrees the box becomes unpleasant.

Hello Freddy; Motul 90 PA is a L2105D whereas you mention Porsche recommends an L2105B. Did you research the difference between a "D" and "B"? Curious as I have a similar issue - transaxle is fine when cold but when the car warms up the transaxle doesn't like sharp corners, particularly when making a turn from a stop. It grinds. I've tried Kendall and Swepco but no improvement.
