Default Best upgrade for the money?

I haven't done much to my car (yet)... but so far, but I love the Momo steering wheel.... It's smaller, chunkier and has a great feel....

What have you done that you are particularry happy with?

I think the turbo tie rods, short shifter and sport engine/tranny mounts are nice for the $$$

Turbo tie rods for sure plus fully sorting the suspension by lowering a little and corner weighting.

Buy the best tyres you can too....Bridgestone SO3's for example.

I installed Bilsteins (replacing the original Boge's), and that made a big difference. It depends on what you're looking for, but a suspension refresh/upgrade will make her feel like a different/better handling car.

Love the wheels Chaz, I have the Momo wheel and ****. Still thinking about doing the Fuchs. Other than that, I fix all that needs fixin to keep the car as "perfect" as possible and still be a driver.

Hi Matteo:

Here is what I tell all of our customers:

1) Suspension upgrades (tailored toward how you use the car and many options)

2) A GOOD chip

3) Exhaust upgrade (many options!)

3) Steering wheel & seating

4) 7x16 & 8x16 Fuchs wheels (move the current 7x16 rears to the front and buy 8x16's)

Hope this helps,

ok... great inputs everybody

So my car has:
- Turbo tie rods
- Cross drilled rotors
- Fuchs 7s and 8s
- 2-point strut brace
- S03 pole position
- Momo wheel and gearknob
- Rennline Pedal set (with dead pedal)

I'd like to do the following not necessarily in order

1) Driver ed
2) Chip
3) exahust
4) suspention

For #1 I am a member of the local PCA and will check with them for the next avaliable.

2) Everybody swears by this Steve Wong chip.... If I get it what else do I need to do? Can I put it on myself? What if I then decide to go for a free-flow muffler (BTW what is this exaclty?). Will I need to have the chip reprogrammed?

3) Can I get a dual out and no premuffler? what does the premuffler do? What is a free-flow exhaust? Will I pass the state emissions? How much will these cost?

4) A set of Blistein will set me back $1,200.... that's quite a lot.. I think I am going to wait a little bit on this... (it's not as if my car is that bad as it is...)

Anyway thanks again for your inputs!!!!!

Mamaroso,

#2...............yes you can put a single in dual out on without a pre-muffler, I just put a Dansk on...........cost is approx. $650..............you will have to cut a hole in your rear valance to accomodate the extra tip. SEE PIC.
