Default 1970 Porsche 911T Targa - "Appearance Group"

Hi there,
Anyone know what this means exactly? It's listed on the actual 1970 Window Sticker with the options.

This should be for the wider deco trim (like the S) and front bumper guards. Makes the T look more like the S except for the S front bumper.

Thanks! What did the regular T bumper guards look like vs the S? And deco trim? I'm just trying to understand what the little nuances are.
Thank you!

if you follow the link "tang" in my signature you can see pics. the car has S now, it had "T" before. First post has some pics and a link to car before restoration.

So the front bumper skirts, is that what the S Appearance Group would be like on yours below? Mine does not have that nor does it have front bumper over rider, just the rear.

so your car has all the trim except the bumper, I believe that would have been optioned separately. the trim, its 'wide' all the rubber bits and the sill deco. you can see on my original pics, its 'thin' - that was normal T deco

I like your Targa! You may already know, but figured I would point it out just in case, that your side mirrors are for a later car (SC or Carrera). Chances are that your car was delivered without a passenger side mirror as well, since it is not on your window sticker (most cars were not optioned with the passenger mirror). My car also had the wrong mirrors on it when I bought it and I closed up the passenger side holes when I had it repainted.

Thanks! Yea I had to take them off and put the original back on. The original owner was an older gentleman and had a hard time seeing with the one small mirror on the drivers side. Unfortunately, it took some work to close up the holes and blend the paint. The color says "green" and I was told it was metallic green but seems slightly off from original color. I also put on the original Fuch's as well (I tried loading the latest pictures of it in it's current state but had an issue uploading). Will try to upload later.
