I'm taking my newly purchased 87 Carrera into the shop to have a few things serviced. The car looks as if it was lowered TOO much. Maybe just lowered too much in the rear. It almost looks like it's slouching back. I have no idea what has been done to the suspension at this point. What are your opinions on this? I'm assuming some minor adjustments could be done fairly easily on these cars.

I have the same issue with my 1987 Carrera. Mine was purchased in Germany by the original owner. I believe it was set up at the European height which I think was lower than USA cars - not sure about that. I am thinking about having the height adjusted up as per USA cars. I had a 1986 Carrera which was set up with a slight rake from back to front. I really liked the look.

The only years US 911s had raised ride heights above RoW were '75 -83
the only year where a Carrera was lower than a other models was '74, not couning specials like SC/RS or the like
This is all good feedback. Not what I expected honestly! The car drives and feels fine so it’s just a matter of aesthetic taste. The car is pretty much stock otherwise, so I don’t love the idea of an “after-market” looking stance. It’s really just nitpicking at this point though.
The rule of thumb fender measurements to the ground are 25.5" at the front and 25" at the rear with stock 16-inch wheels and tires. That is "Euro", and should give you a slight forward pitch. Not totally accurate because the bodies can vary. The published factory ride height measurements are based on the distance from the ground to the center of the torsion bars and the ground to the wheel centers, but that is less convenient to measure.

That's why you have to do what is right for you , not what a bunch of strangers on the internet think. its your car, not ours.
