😁 Couldn't pass up this deal 1977 911s
What's up everyone!!
Picked up this 1977 911S ROW car few weeks ago, has 140km so roughly 86k miles.
Got it with IROC front and rear bumpers and duck tail rear lid.
Very solid car and can't wait to start messing with it.
First plans are to mock the new bumpers and figure out what color it will be.
Check it out!! Will be keeping this thread updated with any progress.

Best of luck. As I recall, the 1977 911S model (9117201923) was (for me) one of the most troublesome 911s ever produced. It featured a magnesium engine case which was always pulling case bolts--despite helicoil inserts. Thermal reactors rounded out the non-standardness of that model year. I'm guessing that car has come a long way from its delivery configuration in 1977. I just have been scanning old Agfachrome slides from 1977 and sadly miss that car. But--it's going to be fun for someone today to sort out as they are quite simple. DO NOT forget to make sure you have the latest oil-fed chain tensioners.
Best of luck.

That was a beautiful car you had!
Thanks for the heads up.

Hands on is the best way to learn. Please work on your camera focus - maybe a tripod would help. Also watch your microphone direction so we don't miss your comments as you work. A clip on microphone would really help. Looking forward to seeing more work.

I have a gimbal I recently purchased as well as a tri-pod.
The hardest part is remembering to grab everything to work since I usually record and work on the car after hours.
I use my iPhone headphones mic sometimes which works well but definitely will be purchasing a clip on soon.
Thanks again,
Part 2 will be out soon!
