Where are you working on this? What is the giant empty building?

It's a 40 x 160 warehouse that just went up for storing parts at the place I work at. We part cars out, that space is now filled with a bunch of racking.

One day maybe I'll have a similar building just for the hobby

Default Nice ride, welcome to the 77 911 experience

Hi,
My name is Stephen. I too have a 1977 911S. I bought it for $10K in 84 when I lived in California. After rebuilding the 2.7ltr motor twice I decided to put a more reliable 3 ltr. built from a 76 block.
The 2.7's have a magnesium block with aluminum heads which needed a top end overhaul after 100Km.
I still own it and I'm doing my best to keep it in good condition. I live in the Netherlands now for 32 years.
I found this forum while looking for help for a low oil pressure issue after I changed the oil.
The forum was great and I know what the issue is.
Good luck with your "baby". It is the ultimate driving experience.
Nothing even come close.
Keep those updates coming. Feel free to reach out for support and... have fun.

3.ltr. motor. Removed AC cause I never used it here. The compressor just got in the way when I was adjusting the valves etc.

After repaint, Dutch weather is rough on the body.

Hey Stephen!

Beautiful car and I will definitely keep you in mind when doing any mechanical and motor work!

Most my extra time has been going towards my '68 912 but will be back on the '77 shortly!

It's been a while since I've updated this thread on here! Lot's of time spent on Pelican and 912BBS but can't forget about Rennlist haha

Slow progress with the red 911, it's very hard to find the time to drive out and work on the car where it's being stored.
