Budget 911 Engine Refresh Adventure, Cant Afford Pros, DIVE IN

Finishing up the heat backdate, some of this footage is from previous episodes, but I wanted to put it all in one video so people could learn about backdating their heat, all in one video:
Putting the engine tin on today and trying to get it off the engine stand and onto the ground. Fuel lines this weekend... getting close gentlemen!

Burning Brakes
It makes you wonder about the mentality of the guy who welded it there in the completely wrong place. Like they might have thought it did not matter where it went (sure, weld it on there somewhere, location does not matter, why would it ), and as long as they welded it on there somewhere they could be finished with the job. ??? If not for that major error, the powder coating sure looks nice. Since you and @theiceman had the exact same failure, maybe it makes sense to have it reinforced when getting it fixed.

Soooooo I've been gone a while. Spent all last summer building an insane race boat, then a crazy van trailer thing, 3 snowmobiles over winter, and now... back on the 911! lol.
Going to try to finish this spring!
Couple update videos, I should be posting a new video every Sunday until this is back on the road.
First one is replacing ALLLLLL the fuel lines... tunnel lines included. I was not looking forward to this. I dreaded it. It was pretty bad, zero fun, but glad it's done:
Second video is about getting scammed from Mark Jung who runs MFIwerks, he intentionally mislead me in selling me a used exhaust system he had, and purposefully hid the damage/repair by obscuring it in photos, then ignored me once I received it and realized it was so messed up. Mark's a turd. Installed the exhaust anyway, it's what I have right now.

Getting CLOSER! This is how I removed my fully assembled engine from my engine stand, fabricated an engine cradle, and mounted my trans & engine tin. It's going in soon!
I didn't want to use a hoist/chain because I was worried about hurting some of the fuel lines, so I fabricated a simple engine mount using some scrap 2x4s, tossed together a plywood ramp, and used my trust ATV/Trans jack. Might be a pretty obvious video for some that have done this a few times, but it was honestly hard to find information on this aspect and nobody has really documented it well, so here's my experience. Stay tuned! Engine/trans are going in VERY SOON!
