Default 911SC Barn find - Wiring diagram

Hi, I am about to embark on recently acquired 911SC Targa restoration project. It's a US delivered 1979 which was imported to Australia in 1995. It was a bit of a barn find as it has been in storage since 1996. The previous owner had rebuilt the engine and also converted it to RHD (I would have preferred it stayed as it was however that's not the case). When the engine was reinstalled the wiring was not completed and also the engine has not been started for may years. As a result of the RHD conversion the LHD wiring in the front needs to be extended as well.

My first task is to do a compression test on the engine to see what I am dealing with. Before I can do that I need to reconnect the wiring. I have the Bentley 911SC service manual and the 101 projects books. Both are great however I need a bit more detail. As such does anyone have a colored wiring diagram they could send me. Picture of the beast is as follows.

Looks like a great project. Sorry, no help on the wiring, but ...

I understand the desire for a quick compression test to see where you stand. Can't you just power the starter directly, separate from the whole electrical system, for the compression test? Depending on how good/bad the rest of the wiring is, that might be the shortest path to compression results.

Good luck.

Before you crank it for the compression test, have you confirmed the pistons move freely? I think I would squirt a couple of ounces of Mystery Oil in each cylinder, let it sit overnight, then carefully turn it over by hand using the fan nut (pinch the belt for more tension) before doing the compression test.

I will try to scan the color wiring diagrams at work tomorrow. They are foldout, and an odd size (about 12 inches by 30 inches). PM me your email address.
