Default 996 GT3 seats in a G body car

I need to put a set of GT3 seats into a friend's car. Has anyone done this? Any guidance, including wiring, is much appreciated.

What are these spring loaded pins?

you talking bout the 'Vader' seats?

You'll need slider adapters or use sliders from the older cars. Brey Krause makes them. They adapt the 'angle' bolt on the front to the older car style.

You'll have to look, but these should work:
https://www.bkauto.com/R_9043_996_Sl...r_p/r-9043.htm

Also, you may need to look at seat height. Later seats can sit quite high. I believe the 996GT seats will use or can use a regular type side mount adapter to get it to sit lower in the car. The 997GT seats there is a side mount adapter that cantrell made that sits lower.

I believe those pins are the slider locks.

Yes, those are the seats. The BK adapters are great, thank you, never would have known.

That's what I thought too on the seat height but I put on in the car and it seemed OK.

Thanks for the post, very much appreciated!

Those are the adapters you'll need, and they work perfectly. Make sure to read the instructions as they state how far apart the holes need to be.

Here's my install thread...

I can't remember the wiring, but all you need is a hot and ground. Do some searching in the 993 forum. That's where I found my info.
