Default 1980 911SC Air Filter Cover Options?

Hello everyone. I'd like to replace the engine air filter cover on my 1980 911SC Targa. Can anyone recommend an upgraded replacement? Thank you.

I'm looking to replace the old cover because it is cracked. The crack is probably only a cosmetic problem, but it does look bad. Are there alternatives that look better or sound better?

cut away the top - 0 hp; maybe more induction noise; maybe a loss in hp...

Fabspeed makes a replacement cover without the snorkel and with a carbon fiber look. But it’s expensive and reviews complain about the price for what sounds like a cheap piece of plastic.

Yes, I've read the negative reviews on the Fabspeed cover. I was hoping there might be another alternative.

I've the Fabspeed one. It's nothing special - glad it came with the car as I would've never paid MSRP for it myself. Looks cool I suppose?

the Fabspeed website says adds 9whp and 6 ft/lbs... is that real? seems like a pretty good deal for $175 if it is.
