So just a data point, from the wasteland that is the East Coast, I think if you're looking for an unmolested 3.2, with under 50k miles, and everything is in there, works, with no leaks etc and good compression you're looking at 65 - 85k with silvers/black and G50s at the upper end, and you'll still spend some money on it when you get it (except for Mooty's car and I mean that sincerely - just check out some of his posts on the GT3 forum).

So as someone that also owns an 18 GTS you have to ask yourself, I could spend 90k and get a really nice low mileage 991.1 (maybe even a .2), where it's turnkey and drive with Apple Car Play, or do I want a more visceral, raw experience that might leave me stranded 30 miles from home? Obviously I'm a dummy and want both...

check the PCA classifieds here and pelican - id honestly rather buy directly from an owner who posts then a dealer- it will be cheaper and you'll probably have more history. craigslist as well. and look at eBay to compare prices or get an idea.

you should be in the ballpark of 40-60k coupes are more then cabrio's and targa's - newer cars would be more of course. 84 vs 89
g50 transmission will be more

if buying one with a 915 tranny for 40k plus make sure its redone sorted.

Also check out BAT, they always have a few auctions... Have you driven any yet? Good luck with your search, that's half the fun!

I know you say you want a coupe, but have you ever driven a convertible with the top down after the sun goes down on a really hot day? Might want to try that, if not. Rarely gets hot enough here where I am in CA to get the full effect, but once in a while ...
(and my '85 cab is not for sale; just offering advice)
