I really appreciate the kind words. I did all of this myself and it nice to hear. I am going to say that this weights about the same or a tad bit less than stock.
I lifted my stock spare several times and the Fuch replacement test fitting. My guess is about 28 lbs, which my car desperately needed. Every since I changed the battery to a light weight Odyssey and removed the spare the car seems great up to 95+ mph. Then it feels squirrelly. Front end is completely fresh and has turbo tie rods. I doing some Rebel racing components in the front and back over the holidays. Then I am having it aligned, weighed and ride height readjusted.......again. Plan on playing with toe and camber too. I think the front end was just too light.
Wow, amazing job on this car. Been kicking around mods for my 86 Targa and this is the year I'm getting started. I LOVE your interior. How did you get the longhood looking rail and embossed vinyl on the center of the dash? Was that a kit or a DIY? Your deck lid is equally awesome. Also, the material in the frunk...care to share where you got that?
Deepest apologies if I missed it earlier in the thread. This was like one of those books you read that you can;t wait to get to the end and see what happened.
