Mystery cat bypass pipe - brand?
Anyone have a clue as to what brand this 911 cat straight pipe is? It came with my car and it has zero labels or branding on it. Most of these pipes look relatively similar.
anyone tried out different cat straight pipes from different brands and notices a sound difference between them?
thanks in advance!

That's not a straight pipe It a " test pipe" or cat bypass.
Straight pipes mean bypassing muffler and cat and gong straight out.
I have a similar test pipe and I like it. I'm taking it off to go to SSI and sport dansk.

I'm not sure. Got mine on eBay. Brand doesn't even really matter for this. It does add a nice subtle burble at idle and low rpm range that the cat takes away.

thanks thats what i am thinking. Unless the bypass is really poorly manufactured i wouldnt see any major sound differences between different brands as its basically just a solid pipe with nothing inside.

Oh yeah... that's gonna be loud! Most manufacturers have a larger diameter pipe so they can add some baffle making it a bit of a pre-muffler. Yours clearly doesnt... that puppy is just a tube!

i thought most of the cat bypasses that were not the premufflers had basically same shape and size to them. I guess i could measure the diameter to see how mine compares to fabspeed, bursch, dansk etc...
