Thumbs up Searching for my 911

hey guys im searching for my 911 and not having any luck in the Lower Mainland..... I've been watching buysell etc and not seeing anything..

im just wondering if you guys know of any good websites to watch...

I've tried the Rennlist Classifieds

www.buysell.com
www.urbangarage.com
www.weissach.com
mcl.porschedealer.com

and no one seems to have a 84-89 911 Carrera Coupe with the turbo look option.. (yea yea im asking for much) just wonderign if any of you guys out there have any other sites that i've missed.

Thanks!

Nick.

Factory Super Sports are rare. I've seen more teeth on Goldfish.
If you do find one, make sure that it is a factory turbo look. If it's been modded, stay away from fibreglass unless it's cheap. Just my 2 pence worth FWIW.

What about the websites related to Southern California used car sales? Is the Turbo Look rare? Because late '80's Carrera Coupes in L.A. are about as rare as palm trees. You can't drive anywhere without seeing them everywhere. Have you tried the Los Angeles Times? Recycler? Auto Trader? Hemmings? Best of luck with your search.

Nick

I noticed that you hail from BC. For a reasonable choice for mid-80s Carreras, you have to look south & think about importing. There is a much, much greater supply south of the border - especially on the West Coast.

You can get a Rennlister or Pelicanite to look at the car before you do a remote PPI & then fly down to finish the deal & drive it back (or ship) home.

That is my plan.

Websites:

www.autotrader.com

http://www.collectorcartraderonline.com/

Pelican

Let me know if you want more links. I have many.

Do a search on importing for info.

Default I had a PPI done on one...

I was looking for the same thing and found one that is street legal but more of a track car with some very nice upgrades. I had a PPI done on it as well and it came back clean (did not do compression or leakdown). It is an 84 with about 100k on it. Very nice guy to deal with. $25,000

S4drifter,

Beautiful car. Are those wheels Fikse's? Very nice. Take it to the track, at least once. You may get hooked.
