BLAUPUNKT; POSSIBLE TO FORCE "CODE" TO APPEAR?
I have a Blaupunkt Reno 2. If there a way to force the code to display on the display? I have the code, but all I have is 4 dash lines and cannot enter the code without code displayed
I thought I read that if you hold the first preset down for a few minutes it would force code to appear??

I wish I knew the answer. Blaupunkt did have a few workarounds, which were common in the Bosch era oem manufacturer supply days. Do you have the original manual?

Back in '07, bought a "new in the box" Reno from Midwest Electronics in IL. Checked but no website. Might want to contact SW Stereo Specialists swstereo.com for suggestions.

great tip Gerry
thanks!
just got off the phone with those guys and they told me resetting the radio is a time delay thing and that it could take 30 mins to an hour of leaving it on for the "code" to appear
will try that and report back
thanks again

for all interested:
I was able to get "code" to appear after leaving the radio on for about 45 minutes! that's the good news; the bad news is I must have the wrong code.
the new question is does anyone know how to get the radio code? my local dealer was no help. going to try Porsche USA

If you have an options code sticker look there. It was quite common in the day for the mechanics to write it there in case they ever had to disconnect the power for anything
