Selling One Owner Andial
The time has finally come and I need your input on what to charge for this car. Pros:I'm the original owner, never been hit, sport seats, delete sunroof, Guards red over cashmere, Andial 3.8 conversion at 62K miles(twin plug, RS cams, Carrillo rods, K24 turbos, etc.), Ruf Pss-9 suspension, Cargraphic oil cooler, short shifter, StopTech 14" front thicker 13" rear brakes with functional Turbo S brake cooling ducts, 996tt hollow spoke wheels, 235/40 front 315/30 rear tires, Ruf strut brace, engine, trans, clutch and suspension completely rebuilt in the last 10K miles to include:new valves, valve springs, rod bearings, heads welded and oringed, new alternator, UMW LWF and extra heavy clutch assy, synchros, lsd, fresh slave and accumulator, UMW zero clearance and improved vane turbos, Pss-9s rebuilt and revalved slightly stiffer, engine harness, rear window, tach and brake booster updates done. Cons:144K miles, lots of track use, road rash in the usual places, will need brakes and tires before too long. I would comfortably deliver this car anywhere in the lower 48 for expenses. Refinish the wheels and respray the front and it's gorgeous. GT2 conversion? It's already missing the sunroof. I await your ideas.

Don,
I can't believe you'd let that beauty go for any price... its like a member of your family! Despite the mileage, its like a brand new car! Don't sell... you'll never find a decent replacment. Oh wait... do I smell a Maclaren?

wow, sorry to hear this. Quite the journey though. Would be hard to put a price on your car... I'm worried the market would be small and you'd take a beating. I'm with Steve, you should keep it.

The closest point of reference would be CJ Wilson's old car (Andial registry TS375654), which was listed at $69,900 with 79,959 miles and maybe Blackie listed at $87,500 I don't recall the miles.
The engine from VS375480 was just on ebay after the car was wrecked, but I forget what they were asking, wasn't it arouind $30k?.

Scott, I'm glad you have some data points. I was thinking ~$80k, but had nothing concrete to base it on (other than the condition of Don's car, which I have seen several times in person... extremely nice). He is fanatical about maintainance, and went first class with the upgrades. And... sunroof delete from new!
Note to any potential buyers: force Don to throw in some driving instruction at a track near you... he is very good, but very safe.

You might check in with Bruce Canepa. He sells lots of rare cars. He might have some ideas on value and if you drive up there, you can check out the eye-candy!
