The GT4 prices have generally hovered around 10-15k above their MSRP since early 2023. As mentioned the more bare bones the spec, the more towards MSRP it is.

It appears that 2020-2021 cars (even with low mileage) are also on the cheaper end than the 2023-4 cars with low mileage.

Shark blue comes up frequently, but python green is hard to see. Both colors command a higher price.

Overall, the price has been stable around 110-150k since last year and I haven’t seen much change. If anything, the average price seems to have decreased a little with less cars being listed over $140k on all of the popular car selling platforms.

when compared to a GT3, the GT4 shines with initial corner entry and the ease of carrying a higher speed into a corner. The GT3, for me, is all about its engine note which adds so much to the drama. Otherwise they feel very similar

If you ordered '22 GT4 with PDK I can understand it. Otherwise, this is apple to banana. A manual GT4 trumps any 911 below GT3, GTS included (for engine, feel and fun).

How do you come to that conclusion? Obviously transmission choice wasn't the issue with the car, otherwise he wouldn't have landed on a PDK only car (4RS) as his keeper

The market is stupid at the moment, take a look at this auction - https://carsandbids.com/auctions/rEn...718-cayman-gt4
Ignore the build for a moment.
We have 3 parties involved - all dealers.
* Selling dealers which set the reserve too high (above market value)
* Two highest bids are also dealers, which means dealers are offering more money than what consumers are willing to pay - which is insane to think about

Didn’t look to hard but
- free color
- no leather
- no buckets
- no pdls+
- no pccb

MSRP has to be low 100s. My MSRP was close to that final bid. I didn’t tick pccb and was really conscious of not tarting it up with useless options.

A 2023 w/ all those boxes tick has to be in the mid 130s just MSRP wise.

Mine is "tarted up" LWBS, PCCB, Burmester, diviated stitching, extended leather, etc. in 22 that was a $135k car.

MSRP on my 23 was 140, but it’s also a PTS.

You are the one trying to conclude something I don't understand. I am simply saying a stick GT4 cannot be really compared to a 4RS in driving experience, period. Not better or worse, but different and can't be really compared.

I thought my interpretation of your comment was pretty clear, but perhaps I misunderstood it. To me it sounded like you were assuming his mistake from transitioning from a 991.2 GT3 to a GT4 was purely on his transmission choice, even though he didn't even mention which transmissions were in either car. That might be the case for you, but pretty out there to assume that was the case for him, especially having traded his way to a PDK only car that he said was a keeper.
