Painful to watch, but I guess it’s his schtick.
Includes the obligatory 10 minutes of top clowning around.
An emphasis of the front/rear trunk emergency release, strange.
some facts I didn’t know like that the 4RS is “2 inches lower” and Spyder RS “only 1.2 inches lower” than something.
Driving happens on some CA urban side streets. I guess he’s a southern CA guy cuz he says that a bunch.
He likes it!

Just a mistake on his part. Both are 30mm (about 1.2") lower than a standard Boxster/Cayman.

Not sure how the "Doug Score" was a tie between 4RS and SRS for "comfort", when the spring rates are 50% less, of which he stated there is a clear improvement in ride quality....I would take an SRS over a 4RS in a heartbeat. Miss my 718 Spyder.

I’m not sure who the audience for that video is. Not technical and the cinematography wasn’t very good to stare at finishes and options.
The driving piece short and not technical in any way.
Pretty sure all trunks have emergency releases per regulation so don’t think it was even funny…

I personally like him a lot since my own feeling generally match with him... outside of EVs and agressive styling (both I don't like as much as him).
Since I feel like it is like Top Gear. His review is just for a "car person". Not a track nerd, but for people that just like cars.
Is it cool? Is it loud? Do you feel good while driving it? Without getting to much into the details which is hoenstly, not that important especially for a road car like SRS.

Can't stand this guy who always appears to be whining. Must be the voice. I like Farah. Hie video reviews are fun to watch. Now he evn wrties for Road and Track. I just hope that he doesn't crash on one his canyon drives.

Dough is unique and quirky in his own way - he reviews cars for non car people - but he reviews drivers cars LOL - which is why people watch his reviews?? Whatever the combination he's very successful...
He has a huge following and his Cars and Bids platform is very popular.
His story is actually pretty interesting too... I think he sort of fell into this line of business.
He recently (a couple years ago?) bought his dream Porsche Carrera GT.

I hope he knows that the Carrera GT can bite pretty hard if not respected. Maybe he does. It is all an act (acting) these days it seems to me, these awful video reviews. Thank goodness we have Rennlist to express our disdain and lofty viewpoints. Hahaha.
