I'm glad that someone developed this product, but I'm disappointed that it provides no additional HP for your $10K+ investment. Sure looks cool, however!
A couple of threads on this. I think intakes are often the hardest aftermarket products to make big power out of on N/A engines, no? I think this is more for the look and experience than power.

The original SRO intake was just meant to reduce air temps by raising the inlets such that you weren't getting all the hot air from the front rads & brakes going into the engine. It would help maintain performance over longer periods of time (think endurance racing), but it's not really going to increase baseline performance. In all honestly, it's a cosmetic thing / something you can flex at a cars & coffee.

Sure, I'd expect the only reason would be for intake sound, but as to how much induction sound is increased or sweet to the ear, who knows. Maybe not 10k worth ?
Got a ride in a 4RS for the first time last week. Sounded way better on the inside than my 4.0 gts with full Kline system. Wonder if these sound the same. I think the car would be too loud with the intake and exhaust/oap/headers.

From the video I saw, they don’t sound the same (not even close).

I think that from my reading, they only dyno tested on the 981 gt4, the 982 seems to be more responsive to power gains, so there may be a few hp there to squeeze out
