How many of you cross shopped the Spyder and GT4?

Seems silly to cross shop the Spyder and the GT4. Either you want to convertible or you don't.
If you want a convertible then it seems like you're cross shopping a "regular" Boxster and a Boxster Spyder. It's the same car. One looks better and one has better convenience.....

Doubt many do, certainly a rare topic on here
I don’t cross shop anything…Spyder only here. 987, 718, now RS

I spent $150k off the lot on this car. For this price point, I could have bought a lot of other cars. Simply, there is no substitute. Didn't even test drive another car. Heck, I didn't even test drive a Spyder or GT4 before buying. I knew from this board and everything else that I read these cars are truly something very, very special. I was correct. Still puts a smile on my face every single time that I drive it, and there is no other car on the market today that interests me. Even at much higher price points (though I cannot really afford a $350k sports car).

I turned down a 4rs allocation, but didn’t turn down the Spyder RS. I previously had a 718 spyder and sold it and later regretted it.
