Haha…I was looking at 981s right after they came out, good friend who cycles through all these said get 987 as more unique.

Loved that little Boxster and good intro to the full manual top. Almost my favorite feature.

I spent $150k off the lot on this car. For this price point, I could have bought a lot of other cars. Simply, there is no substitute. Didn't even test drive another car. Heck, I didn't even test drive a Spyder or GT4 before buying. I knew from this board and everything else that I read these cars are truly something very, very special. I was correct. Still puts a smile on my face every single time that I drive it, and there is no other car on the market today that interests me. Even at much higher price points (though I cannot really afford a $350k sports car).

I turned down a 4rs allocation, but didn’t turn down the Spyder RS. I previously had a 718 spyder and sold it and later regretted it.
