GT Cars Delayed?
Just checked on my GT4 RS on Porsche.com was scheduled for June 17 delivery now scheduled for August 17 delivery. According to my SA east coast dealer, all of there GT cars have been delayed they dont know why yet Maybee waiting for parts. TYD app still shows old delivery date. Anyone else having a GT car built now showing any delays??

My SRS production was supposed to end 4/23 and there were no updates until early May, which then updated the new end of production date to 7/12. According to my dealer who spoke to their regional rep, it has something to do with some carbon fiber shortage. Fingers crossed that the new date is an over estimation.

My car finished on the original day predicted in Nov, it did enter production 6 days late.
Got on a ship a week later.
Arriving Port of Houston 6 June.
Pretty much hit all dates originally predicted. We’ll see on the last variable, Houston to my dealer

There may be validity to this. My car was supposed to enter production 5/15 and TYD has not updated at all…

But what is your status, in production? Production soon?
Post your build up, maybe we can start seeing trends on specific equipment.

The new PVMS reports show a range of expected dates instead of A date. My delivery is nominally listed as 7/16, but Estimated Date Range for delivery is 6/30 to 9/28. I'm not claiming this means anything other than Porsche admitting there are variables in play.

It’s real. My SRS was delayed a week into production. Started on April 11. Has been “in production” since. Delayed completion date on TYD is today. Heard today it’s further delayed but TYD hasn’t updated yet. Carbon fiber parts so it is likely impacting all GT cars.

So not “all” due to CFRP.
What else in your build?

Porsche is struggling so hard lately. I hope their build quality doesn't get sacrificed.
I'm going out on a limb and saying their hi level of build quality is the 991.2 cars / pre covid.
Not really a way to measure this but since i have a 2018 GT3 I would like to think that was PEAK build quality

My SRS has been on schedule since I ordered it in November. Went into production on 4/22, finished production on 5/15. Latest update was yesterday with it being transported to Emden on 5/21 with a 5/30 Port departure date - headed to Davisville.
My config: PTS, WP, Mags, PCCB, Fully painted hood & sofas. If others have delays, maybe it's due to LWB's or painted stripe.
