Default Can’t decide on PCCBs and mag wheels (GT4RS). Help

Title says it all. I can’t decide on PCCBs and mag wheels for my GT4RS build. I don’t personally care about having either from a driving perspective, but am concerned that it will harm resale later on, or collector value (I’m planning on keeping this one for the long haul with the impending electric car transition and the theater of the car). What do you all think? Do these things matter?

What does your resale market research tell you?

This is like the tax return fallacy. Buying crap just because you get 30% of it is still costing you money overall.

There is no such thing as an option that increases resale value by more than it costs. For me personally, PCCB and Mag wheels are active deterrents.

Just buy what suits your needs best, don't buy a car for someone else. Buy it for yourself.

Reedy is right. Buy what YOU want. I got both, not for resale, but because I wanted them. I won't pretend they are cost effective. I just wanted them.

Make sure you get the sofas with those PCCBs and Mags for a real killer deal and market value retention.

Coincidentally, I am getting sofas because I don’t fit the carbon seats. There are almost zero without the buckets out there.

Plenty of people are getting 18 ways in their SRS.

At least a third. Definitely more than 4RS owners which are >90% LWB.

Personally on my SRS, I ordered WP, PTS, 18way seats, PCCB, and regular OEM wheels (which are very light for OEM wheel), 98 total lbs.

I’m buying the Spyder RS for me as I will keep it forever.

I’m not comfortable in LWB, and I don’t love the aesthetic of the factory mag wheels, and so dont want to pay ADM on them.

agree to buy for yourself.

However, I disagree regarding PCCB being a deterrent on a non track car. On a GT3, 4RS, 3RS that is meant to be tracked, I agree irons are the way.

On a fun drivers car like a Spyder RS, 911R, ST, and even GT3 touring, a car without PCCBs is worth far less than one with them.

Of course it's worth far less without PCCBs...you actually paid less for the car!

Just buy what you want and/or fits the use of the car.....

Mags with PCCB is lightest spec and wheels arguably look better.

Heavy track, skip both. Otherwise just get what you like. Neither make or break the car as you can get track wheels/rotors if needed.

Data point:
Of the 130 voters of Spyder RS owners on the Global Facebook page... 88% specced the LWB.
They are free for the RS compared to the Spyder... which IMHO makes a difference.

I sold my 4RS with PTS, mags and pccb and there’s no way I got the full cost back on the wheels and brakes.

My SRS will have standard wheels and PCCB as the mag wheels are overpriced in my opinion considering what they cost.
