Default Switching seats

I have a friend with a GT4 RS with LWBS. He wants to get a set or regular seats to switch out for street driving vrs track. Does anyone know what will fit. I assume the 4 way manual are a go. Just wondering about any electric adjustable seats that would be compatible with the car. Thanks if anyone has switched these and has knowledge.

I’d suggest you first start with a rennlist search.

This has been discussed on rennlist literally hundreds of times.

Not to be rude or anything...but i cant see any reason why a set of the 2-ways wouldnt work right? I mean at the end of the day its a Cayman, its not like anything fundamentally was changed seating wise.

Been reading up on swapping seats over the past week, as I will be ordering a set of Recaro Pole Position ABE with Pepita inserts - ditching the idea of buying OEM LWBS for north of 15K. I'll be reusing all stock hardware mounted under the new seats to avoid any yellow lights on the dash. I feel the swap from LWBS to Sofas will be a breeze.

I think sofas will be a killer option as the GT4RS is discontinued and ultimately becomes a collectible. So many have the carbon buckets, something like 2 or 3 on the market have sofas out of the 60+ for sale.

Track addict was asking for me. All the threads I've looked through pretty much just talk about the fact that another seat will physically fit in place of the LWBS. Any 718 seat will bolt in place, but the real concern is, if the car came with LWBS, are all the pins in place on the plug to energize a different seat, or does it require a different wiring harness/plug,etc.... I would like to be able to swap in a sofa seat and know that it will operate properly before I buy something. I am struggling to find the answer to that. TIA for any help.
