for those TLDR:
"It's fair to say that after our fairytale first drive, evo has had a troubled, slightly confusing relationship with the GT4 RS. When we first drove it in the UK at eCoty 2022, our adoration of the RS was – quite literally – shattered by its ruthless, uncompromising and downright jarring feel over lumpen, craggy B-roads. A fifth place finish doesn't sound terrible, but given the enormous weight of expectation behind the Cayman, it was deeply disappointing.
We've since driven a later-build GT4 RS and the magic we felt when we first drove it appears to have returned. The ferocity and precision of the engine, gearbox and chassis melded with a firm but compliant ride quality that made pretty much any road – and not just newly-surfaced ones – a joy. Porsche hasn't officially confirmed whether the later car had a different suspension setup to the example we drove previously, but it certainly felt measured and fluid in a way that doesn't square with our impressions from eCoty. Put simply, it felt like the car we thought – and hoped – the GT4 RS would be. As for the noise? It'll still have your ears ringing to the sound of that flat-six after a long drive, whether you like it or not. "

They probably checked the tire inflation this time.

The GT4RS stock alignment isn't the best, I assume this new car they received was properly aligned/setup.

I'm not sure the OEM PASM controller is programmable via PIWIS, is it?

Stand corrected...there's a new PN for the rear vibration damper (as of December 2023), but not the rear shock absorber complete assembly. Front is unchanged.
This is based on entering my old MY23 4RS VIN into partslink24

Pretty sure PASM can't be programmed from PIWIS.
Mine was delivered May '23. I also rode in a friend's that was delivered Dec '23. Both felt broadly the same to me, except mine had mag wheels and I can feel a (slight) difference in the front end. The 4RS suspension is one of things I really like about the 4RS. Rock solid, yet "rounded." A 991 GTS I was in was noticeably harsher on impact. And I leave my PASM in firm! The only difference between firm and soft seems to be amount of travel, as opposed to firmness. I like min travel, except on really broken pavement. Was on that once, and the 4RS was definitely no fun. Other than that, the suspension is perfect imo.

Yes 992 GTS is harsh, i prefer the GT3 but 718 RS is even worse , is bouncing on all uneven roads really too much,
looking to fix it with Ohlins or similar,
anyone experience?

I never understood the criticism by EVO ECOTY on the harsh ride of the GT4RS. Sure it can bounce and get some air while accelerating hard on very large bumps, but it’s much more compliant than my 964 with PSS10 Bilsteins on. Almost plush in comparison😂

The difference between a 992 GT3/RS and 718 RS is night and day In favour of the 992
anyway i don't like 718 bouncing wheels on air , they don't accelerate nor react well to brake
