Probably even more accurate to say you are paying more because you are then also most likely checking the box for the heated seats...

If I was getting the sofas, I would absolutely pay for heated seats. Similarly, I have PCCBs on my order and had to get the black calipers as the yellow would clash with my neodyme wheels.

I don't see the leather seat back option on the sofa seats...how sad; one of the best leather accouterments for a Spyder

Did I miss it?

Like others I'm returning (previous 987 Spyder) to buckets.

Either seat is great...pick one that is comfortable

Yeah... they didn't offer leather backs for the SRS. It's a shame. Heated steering wheel was another head scratcher on why they didn't offer it.
If I would have selected the 18-ways, that would have something I would have automatically been selected. The grey back shells don't go with anything else in the car. Porsche definitely leaned on the RS decision tree, although they state the SRS is a road focused RS. Maybe the lightweight ethos drove these decisions?

The heated steering wheel, for me, has more utility than the heated seats (which get turned off shortly after warm up). The heated wheel stays on in the cooler temps. I guess that option goes with the steering wheel with other controls, which I don’t believe was offered either. Porsche made these cars hard to spec.
