Not so much a drop as perhaps a drizzle... I observed over the span of a week approximately 10 additional V200 allocations appear across the US Dealer Network... :-/
Can you tell if those were Nov 2023 allocations or new in the system?
At least one member picked up an allocation recently but was almost on lock date -- so clearly from last fall.
Would seem the next dump will be for post summer shutdown MY25 allocations for remainder of CY24 after MY25 price and configurator updates?
Got my PEC Atlanta delivery email and for now it seems car should hopefully be there around April 10 in time for Smokies GT!
Anybody has heard anything about the quality of the installation of the ppf through them? I will also post on the ED section but feel I may get better feedback here.
The factory ppf film it's not the glass type like llumar Platinum it is more like a plastic film much more thinner than Platinum ppf.
On my 7K km 992 i already have lifted edges on the headlights and roof.

The ppf from PEC is actually installed at the port of Jacksonville. They describe it as a certified Porsche technician at the port. Just not sure of the quality of the service as it would certainly be more complicated to address issues after taking delivery. In addition, it delays the delivery in 2 weeks…
If car manufacturers could figure out the PPF film installation aspect and do it as well the country’s best installers, it’d be a great new revenue stream for them.
My long-time contact at Porsche has told me repeatedly the film jobs at the port are horrible and he would never give his blessing on taking the option.
This is not surprising because I’ve seen some horrible film jobs out there by so-called “professionals.” I’ve been screwed over many a time by these installers and have learned a good deal about the trade in the process and have acquired the eye for knowing exactly what the finished job needs to look like; and now I am not screwable in this area. On the other hand, I have seen a minority of excellent paint protection film installers, and I’m fortunate to have one not too far away; and my cars are very happy as a result.
A factory option would be way more convenient. Frankly the manufacturers should contract the jobs to local installers and the jobs should be done by them at the Porsche dealers. The Buyer should have his choice of installer (among those who have the contract) so that the local relationship can exist.
I thought I’d share regarding production & delivery status of my SRS. Looks like Leipzig delivery is completely full, and now they are sending my car to Zuffenhausen. I don’t really care about the track experience so no big deal. Other than the EU delivery date issues, not seeing any variance with the original production schedule (so far / fingers crossed).
According to the GM, late July was all they had left, and Leipzig was completely full (not sure how accurate this is)

My PTS Spyder RS dealer delivery date (US) just moved to 2 days later. Funny that such a small change was necessary.
I wouldn't take any TYD moves as changing actual dates.
I suspect PAG's scheduling system of record is continuously updating the timelines -- closer you get the more the dates get locked down.
My April build has been moving up/back a few days each way last couple of weeks. I suspect some of this is due to Germany celebrating Labour Day on 1 May -- however several other public holidays in Mar, April, May.
I noticed same movement with my previous Spyder through PSVMS. Best to take all this as a large WAG, until it flips to actual/complete.

Thank you for that. That was my fear. Will do with my trusted local guys.
