I’m looking forward to reading some Spyder owner driving reviews next month as Europe warms up and the first SRS deliveries arrive in the US!

Based on my PTS GT4RS currently in production, your end of build date may slip by a couple of weeks depending on their logistics (mine has now slipped in increments for the last month). I am pretty sure that they will try to do all the cars with the same color at the same time to not have to change the paint too often.

According to the GM, late July was all they had left, and Leipzig was completely full (not sure how accurate this is)
I was told by the dealership that EU delivery was not possible, so I followed the advice of others on this board and contacted PCNA EU Delivery directly. They put me on the bottom of the list for August and I thought I was likely out of luck. However, I received an email yesterday asking if I was interested in late July dates. I responded as soon as I saw the email and they put me down for July 22 at Zuffenhausen. I had been hoping for the driving experience, but I am shocked and excited we get EU delivery at all.

So looks like Porsche can only run production on 718 and Macan due to some chip issue. Any thoughts on how that might affect SRS's? Maybe all production will shift forward? Maybe they will open the floodgates on SRS's and flood the market w them? Im locked in $60K ADM for mid May delivery and worried the price now will take a hit due to increased availabilty.

There is no effect, 718s are produced at Osnabrucke.

Reading over on the 992 forum, doesn’t look like there’s any effect there either. Well except for those produced cars that will show up and need the chip change. Appears they just kept the line going and made the change.

Small data point - almost every day for the past week or so my SRS dates have slipped. Original delivery was estimated to be 3/6. Now is 3/20. Car is still in production as of 1/23. No complaints here though hahaha, won’t see much use in the snow anyways.

My dates actually got slightly better. Anticipated date at the dealer improved 5 days this past week.
