2023 Cayman GT4 RS Riviera Blue has arrived!
Hello everyone, I had tons of fun with my last car (Pastel Orange GT4) so I wanted to start another thread on my newest arrival.
Order was placed in July 2022, production started 3/23 and I just picked her up from PECLA yesterday. The only thing I couldn't get were PDLS but I suspect I could retro that after the fact.
The entire delivery experience at PECLA was amazing. Our driving instructor Hunter was awesome and our delivery specialist Charles went above and beyond in providing a great experience. All staff members were also amazing especially everyone at the 917 restaurant. On top of the track experience I was able to experience some laps in a Taycan Turbo (that thing was crazy).
Also a big shout-out again to Rob Owen from Porsche of Riverside who also did a great job with the order. One of the coolest things about PECLA delivery is the coordinator will take photos for you from start to finish and provide them to you on a USB drive at the end, all you have to do is focus on the experience!
My car is grounded for a week while I await PPF but in the meantime I'll install Ed's bolster covers, the car pokes rear license plate frame, and the T-Design memory module. Please enjoy the photos, will add interior photos soon.
What a good way to start the day, picked up in an R8 V10+.
PTS M&Ms, yellow representing the interior stitching and silver representing the wheels, lol. And yes, I forgot to get painted keys but I'll source them through bumperplugs.com. The keychains were freebies along with some other Porsche swag.
Entering the delivery room with my buddy Colin in the R8.
The reveal!
Delivery #1025 since the PECLA delivery experience was started.
WOW is the only way I can describe it on the track.
While I was eating lunch at the 917, Charles moved the car outside for a photoshoot and drive-off.
And some photos with Colin's R8 to end the day.
Edit: I also want to give a big shout to @halfmonkey for inspiration for Riviera Blue. After I saw his Spyder in person I knew I had to get it for my next car: https://rennlist.com/forums/718-gts-...l#post17090325

BTW, Riviera Blue is a bit deceiving. For the longest time I thought it was very similar to Shark Blue from looking at photos online. But it appears when taking photos with an iPhone the color is deeper like Shark, but with a DSLR (the photos I attached today were with 2 different DSLRs), the color is way light and more akin to real life. DSLR on top and iPhone on bottom:

Ha! I see my pick up plaque! I was #985
Couldn’t agree more! PECLA was/is such an awesome experience that I Willis recommend everyone do… especially at $500. Not sure about $2,000 but I guess I’ll cross that bridge when I pick up the next one.
cheers and safe travels

Congratulations!! Beautiful car !
I have to agree that picking up your new car at a PEC is a fantastic experience. We picked up our CGTS in 2018 at PEC-ATLANTA and loved every moment of the event. From being picked up at the airport, to the gourmet lunch, the tour of the museum, the awesome reveal and of course the time on the track. It’s interesting to see the difference between PEC-LA and PEC-ATL. In ATL the instructor is in the car with you on track and when you sign the posterity board, it is a white board mounted on a wall (see picture below). It is such a shame that Porsche raised the price of this fantastic experience to $2000. At $450 it was a huge bargain.
Congrats and enjoy your new car.
