So for America only 918 VIP allocations have dropped and none to actual dealers right?

I just checked in on this thread to chime in with above.. my usual dealership sees 2 RS allocations, but yes, they are 918 VIP.. regular allocations are not in system yet

It's not like it sounds. I only have 2 atm, should have bought @UncleDude Brewster when I had the chance. That was a huge mistake.

That's correct. All allocations released so far is for 918 VIP, spanning from January to June 24 production months.
Mine was originally slotted for January production but that mean I don't have time for CXX options. So I requested to push back my production month to May 2024 to open up CXX.

Quite basic spec I’m afraid
To get in front of the que, I had to go non-WP, non-PTS.
Fine by me, I buy the car for its capabilities not for reselling or posing 😊,
From experience (987.2 Spyder & 25jahre GTS), it rains a lot over here, I knew upfront I wanted to avoid leather of racetex (top) door panels as the ‘plastic’ is much easier to maintain, especially when using the car open and/or with the biminitop. So, WP was a no-go anyway (also not convinced it looks better)
Color was more difficult. I have a maritime blue 944 Turbo convertible, so I knew Shark would disappoint me. Same with Racing yellow as I have also a Speed-yellow 987.2 Cayman S and Ferrari-yellow 968 cabriolet. With the 25jahre being GT silver, I had few options left.
In the end I opted for GR, a color I really like, but which implied I had to drop the PCCB’s (as the SY calipers don’t work for me with GR).
As I went for the satin-black wheels (not enough ***** to go for neodyme), the high-gloss black calipers were also out.
Back window frame, red accents insight, FAL, camera (getting old), cruise control (lot of average speed controls unfortunately), 18-way seats (just kidding) and some other bits and pieces (and the watch )
As said, I kept it pretty modest.

EDIT: OK just realized that the base interior only comes in silver.
