15yr bull markets tend to make people forgetful.
As-new 07-08 RS were sitting offered at well under $100k ($20k+ below MSRP) in 2010.

Personally I wouldn't be trading a manual GT3 for a PDK Cayman + $cash. Common condition is that 'new car' itch that must be scratched. The more you scratch it, the more it itches.

Good move on caving in! It's a beautiful build and you'll love the car.

Many of us still remember. Just many of us choose to enjoy life while we can. A wise man once told me it's impossible to time the market. Instead, you're better off always being invested. I understand that this is different with cars, but if you can do these things now, you should go for it. Life can change in a flash.

Agree - people seem to forget that in '19, GT cars were below MSRP and the economy was roaring AND rates were low. Now the economy is slowing with rates high; kind of a strange situation. That's offset to some degree by the production shortfalls of the past two years. Point is, nobody knows where markups will be in 2 years but it can easily go to 0 (although not sure if anyone wishes for that because it probably means we're in a pretty bad recession).

So we are going to play this game again? I don’t count trade ins where someone lost 30-40k or VIPs that have purchased over 1.5M worth of cars to get MSRP. I’m saying, show me a new 4RS sitting unsold on a dealers floor for msrp?

I’ve been watching the Porsche GT car market closely for 15 years and do not ever remember this. GT cars new, sitting on the floor 20k under msrp in 2019? Care to give an example?

Congrats!
Looks like a great spec. And has all the options that have only been intermittently available.
Enjoy what is perhaps the best sports car Porsche has ever made!

I left my life savings at the dealer today. I couldn’t be happier this car is amazing. Quick dirty pics before it goes to paint prep / detail and clearbra.

Also - you have me to thank when all of you get allocations at msrp. I’m sure that will happen now haha!

Wise move! Congratulations on an amazing car! And the gold wheels are just awesome! What color are the deviated stitching?
