Wow, fantastic combo! I had the same on my 997.2 (black car, grey decals, yellow calipers) and always thought it all went very well together. I've used Renndecals before and they are a quality shop with quality decals. Just make sure you don't use a "grabby" wash pad when going over the decals and you should be fine.

Default PORSCHE TRIPLE STRIPE MATTE BLACK

Just installed these yesterday morning.
1 1/4" from bottom of the door panel to the bottom edge of the horizontal stripe.
1 13/16ths from the upper curved edge to the door panel.

Nice and clean. Any difficulty getting the decal to wrap around the curves at the door edges and fenders? I used some binding clips to hold things in place where it wraps around the trailing edge of the hood. But next time I'll probably get a nice firm piece of rubber hose and slice it longways and slip it over the edge for a more uniform and uninterrupted grip.

No issues. I used panel wipe (PREP) to all areas that the vinyl was been laid down on. I also made sure no to touch the inner side of the vinyl as much as possible to ensure the pieces had optimum tack.
The trick is to go UBER slow when you're laying them down... this will help prevent most of the air bubbles from being trapped. A needle poked in the center will clear any you may find right up, which is something I need to do over the weekend.
Tip: Before you pull the outer film off to reveal the glory.. make sure to run your finger over all the edges with a good amount of pressure to lock in the seals. This also aids in making sure they stay applied once you peal off the outer later.

IMO, the hardest part of laying down vinyl is choosing the initial measurements - it was a breeze once I committed to them.

I resisted the urge to ever poke them with a pin because I just didn't want to allow that passageway to exist. Instead I just went real heavy on the soap solution and worked all of the bubbles out with a plastic vinyl tool with felt edge that I picked up on amazon as part of a kit. Came with an exacto, extra blades, a couple of squeegie-like tools and some other misc bits.

That kit would work well for these applications. I just used a credit card, and box cutter. I have a few smallish bubbles that I was going to poke at today, but honestly, I’m in limbo as to whether I like the decal. I dont walk away from the car and feel/see that “wow factor” when I turn my head to look back at her now that I applied the decals. It just doesn’t look as clean to me, at least at the moment. Stick with it, or peel them off is the question?

Even adding a red stripe in place of the yellow to tie in the calipers.
