Finally got the fronts completed and I'm thrilled with the outcome. I feel like the stripes toughen up the look a bit and make the car look a little bit more stout. Especially in the rear. And the color match to the Aurum wheels came out as close as I could have hoped for. RennDecals did a superb job tailoring them to my precise specs. I'd recommend them highly.
Fronts were significantly easier to apply than the rear simply because I learned some lessons the first time. Soap and water is your friend. Not enough water and you'll have a hell of a time getting all the bubbles out and you'll only get one shot at proper placement. With soap and water you get a little time and wiggle room. I had a little vinyl left over so I did the area between the windshield and the frame to make it one cohesive scheme from the hood to the deck.

I'm close to doing something similar but with a single stripe, question: How did you do the areas around the hood emblem and the GPS antenna?

Looks beautiful!
Thank you. I like it as well.
To answer your question, I removed both. The antenna was a b***h to remove and you ruin the two sided foam tape underneath it in the process, forcing you to source something non-Porsche because Porsche doesn't sell just the "gasket" material. If I had to do it over again I might consider trying to cut the decal to go around the antenna. But given this was my first time applying graphics to a car, I wanted to avoid doing custom cuts like that.
The hood emblem was easy. Just lay the decal across the depression and slice a few cuts into it so you can press it down into the crevice.

Anyone hear anything from RennDecals.com lately? Folks are telling me they haven't been responsive to inquiries as of late. Hopefully they're still making stripes. They did a great job on mine and were a pleasure to work with.

I saw a post on IG saying they were sent a letter from Porsche lawyers and will no longer be able to sell decals on their website.

I wouldn't buy again from RennDecals. The GTS 4.0 door decals I bought lasted only a few months before peeling off. I ordered 2 sets and have given up now. I prepped the surface too, so no reason they shouldn't have lasted.

That's really disappointing. There's really no reason why these decals should cost anything more than 30$. I was originally going to buy mine from Suncoast and then saw they were like 300$. I'm sorry, i'm willing to pay Porsche tax on a lot of things, but for stickers?! My front splitter is cheaper.

Man, I hope that doesn't happen to mine. They use high quality materials so that shouldn't be happening. 3M and Avery-Dennison seem to be what every graphics outfit uses.

I could see some legal issues with selling graphics using the trademarked Porsche names and fonts. That's probably where they ran into trouble, if they did. Stripes alone (no PORSCHE, no 911, GTS, etc.) would be pretty safe, one would think.

Can you give more detail with regards to what kind of surface you prepped..? Was there ceramic or PPF on the areas you applied the decals? I was told by my PPF installer that they could apply vinyl over PPF, but the decals can be a little suspect over PPF.
Either way, good thing I got two sets of decals just chillin in my parts bin. GT4 & PORSCHE door decals in Matte Black - would it be safe to say that I could add ADM on resale since there is a stop sale?!! JK
When one site goes down, another pops up, and I remember there being 2-3 other sites that offered these decals around ~ 1/2 the price of OEM/Sun coast, or just source locally from a vinyl shop. Probably could get a set printed, and installed for $100.

It was over PPF (Xpel Ultimate non ceramic) and I suspected that could be the reason, however decal adhesive should work on pant or plastics. I did IPA wipedown etc prior to both installs. I also take car to avoid pressure washer in that area and car is washed with mild Gyeon shampoo, so that shouldn't be a factor.
For reference, I know another BGTS with PPF and OEM decals and they holding up after 2 years.
I may just buy the OEM ones, but kinda like the clean no-decal look currently.
