Nope, not just you. Also had a rotary back in the day (series 4) which had to be rebuilt, and only had 24,000klms on original stock engine. Met plenty of people in the rotary community during my ownership, never heard anyone speak of how reliable they were, but that's not why we bought them in the first place. Can confirm they are money pits.
